Embarking on this trek unfolds as an enriching journey, perfectly tailored for a two-week timeframe and offering a myriad of compelling reasons to captivate any adventurer.

Commencing from the towns of Skardu and Shigar, our route meanders through the charming seasonal settlements of the upper valleys, providing an immersive encounter with the captivating Balti culture. The natural landscapes encountered throughout this expedition are equally diverse, ranging from the arid sands of the Indus valley, traversing the alpine lower valley, to the awe-inspiring snowy heights enveloping the Thaley La.

Each campsite is a testament to the rugged beauty of the terrain, requiring ascents beside the Masharbrum glacier's snout and navigating ridges of lateral moraine to reach flat expanses at the mouth of a secondary tributary valley. The journey unfolds along narrow rock ledges skirting the valley's edge, passing deserted stone huts, and ascending to the captivating ice and rock formations leading us towards the majestic Masharbrum.
