Overview
For our Kilimanjaro Expedition in February 2024, we have chosen the Lemosho route as it will provide our clients with the best acclimatisation. This is the longest and most remote route to Kilimanjaro. After beautiful forests and moorlands, it crosses the Shira Plateau to meet up with the Machame Route. We may be accompanied on the first day by an armed ranger as the forests around the Lemosho Glades are rich in buffalo, elephant and other game. The South Circuit is then followed, offering superb views of the Southern Ice fields, past the Barranco Wall then on to Barafu and hence the summit. We have prepared a customised itinerary so that not only our clients reach the summit successfully but they also enjoy the scenic journey along the way. This itinerary ensures that our team gets ample amount of time to connect with mother nature and to acclimatize well before attempting the peak. In the Mountains, right itinerary and wrong itinerary can be the difference between success and failure. Serengeti National Park: If there is one place in the world which gives the most genuine insight into the lives of wild animals, it is the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. Among Africa's many savanna regions, the Serengeti (or Serengeti Plains) is the most well-known. The Serengeti is a vast, undulating plain that stretches 30,000 square kilometers (11,583 square miles) from Kenya's Maasai-Mara game reserve to Tanzania's Serengeti National Park. As it is said, “Serengeti shall never die”. There are many wildlife parks in Tanzania, we have chosen the one which will give our client the best and most complete experience. Moreover, we will also explore Tarangire National Park and Ngorongoro Conservation Area along the way.
