Shimshal is a small valley located far north in Gojal tehsil of district Hunza in Gilgit Baltistan. Minglik Sar (6050 m) is a majestic peak that has initiated many legendary climbing careers. With good accessibility and a non-technical climbing route, Minglik Sar is a good mountain to begin your climbing career.
