Saad Munawar is a mountaineer, mountain guide, writer, project manager, and social activist who has multiple records and awards to his name. In 2019, Saad became the first person in the world to traverse the 3 highest mountain ranges in the world covering 665 kilometers in 23 days. In 2021, Saad led the first ascent on Odver 5. In 2023, Saad led Pakistan’s first ever team expedition to Lobuche East Peak in Nepal. Saad has worked as the expedition manager for Pakistan’s historical first ever expeditions on Annapurna (10th highest mountain in the world) in 2021 and Kangchenjunga (3rd highest mountain in the world) in 2022. Since starting his adventure career 10 years ago, Saad has participated in more than 30 trekking and climbing expeditions until now. Saad has led more than 100 clients to different summits in Pakistan, Nepal, Africa, and Europe. Saad is also a published author, he has written two books, "Chogori" &"Rakaposhi k saye mein". He has also written multiple documentaries/short films and numerous articles at different platforms.
