Overview
Naltar valley lying near Gilgit city is a forested region known for its dramatic mountain scenery and beautiful lakes. Nestled among snow-topped peaks and towering forests, the valley is home to what are referred to as the tastiest potatoes in the world. Naltar pass connects Naltar valley in Gilgit district to Ishkoman valley in Ghizer district. Starting from Satrangi lake and ending at Pakhora village, this trek is one of the most rewarding treks when it comes to scenic landscapes.
